4 มิถุนายน 2563 – ดีแทคแจ้งเตือนประชาชนระวังมิจฉาชีพส่งสแปมข้อความผ่าน iMessage หลอกลวงให้เล่นการพนัน หรือใช้บริการผิดกฎหมาย โดยผู้ให้บริการมือถือกำลังร่วมมือประสานงาน กสทช. และแอปเปิล (Apple) เพื่อหาทางป้องกันปัญหาให้ผู้ใช้มือถือปลอดภัยจากการใช้งาน แนะนำเบื้องต้นผู้ใช้งานอย่ากดลิงก์ โดยผู้ได้รับข้อความสามารถบล็อกหมายเลขผู้ติดต่อที่ไม่หวังดี และกดรายงาน iMessage ที่เป็นสแปมหรือข้อความขยะเพื่อป้องกันการถูกล่อลวง
จากกรณีผู้ใช้งานมือถือ iPhone จำนวนมากจากทุกค่ายมือถือ ได้รับข้อความลักษณะสแปมผ่านทาง iMessage จากผู้ไม่หวังดีเพื่อหลอกลวงให้คลิกเพื่อเล่นการพนัน หรือใช้บริการที่ไม่เหมาะสม โดยถ้าผู้ใช้งานไม่ได้สังเกตหรือหลงเชื่อเมื่อคลิกข้อความเข้าไปอาจจะทำให้เกิดปัญหาเรื่องความปลอดภัย และถูกหลอกลวงให้ใช้บริการอันอาจจะทำให้เสียทรัพย์สินได้ ขณะนี้ สำนักงาน กสทช. แอปเปิล (Apple) ผู้ผลิต iPhone และผู้พัฒนาระบบปฏิบัติการ iOS พร้อมผู้ให้บริการมือถือกำลังร่วมมือหาแนวทางป้องกันเพื่อให้ผู้ใช้ iPhone ได้รับความปลอดภัยจากการใช้งาน ไม่ถูกล่อลวงจากสแปมหรือข้อความขยะผ่านทาง iMessage
ดีแทคแนะนำผู้ใช้มือถือ iPhone สามารถป้องกันข้อความสแปมจาก iMessage ได้ดังนี้
1. รายงานสแปมหรือข้อความขยะในแอปข้อความ (Report spam or junk)
ผู้ใช้ iPhone สามารถรายงาน iMessage ที่มีลักษณะเหมือนสแปมหรือข้อความขยะได้จากแอปข้อความ หากท่านได้รับ iMessage จากบุคคลที่ไม่ได้บันทึกอยู่ในแอปรายชื่อ จะเห็นลิงก์ “แจ้งว่าเป็นขยะ (report junk)” ด้านใต้ข้อความนั้น จากนั้นให้คลิกแจ้งว่าเป็นขยะ จากนั้นให้คลิกลบและแจ้งว่าเป็นขยะ แอปข้อความจะส่งต่อข้อมูลและข้อความของผู้ส่งไปยัง แอปเปิล (Apple) เพื่อจัดการต่อไป และยังเป็นการลบข้อความออกจากอุปกรณ์ของท่าน ทั้งนี้ การแจ้งว่าเป็นขยะจะไม่เป็นการบล็อกผู้ส่งจากการส่งข้อความอื่นๆ หาท่านอีก หากไม่ต้องการรับข้อความเหล่านี้อีกจะต้องบล็อกผู้ติดต่อ
2. บล็อกหมายเลขโทรศัพท์ หรือผู้ติดต่อ (Block a phone number or contact)
ท่านสามารถเข้าไปที่ข้อความ iMessage ที่ได้รับ คลิกผู้ติดต่อที่ด้านบนของการสนทนา แล้วคลิกชื่อ หมายเลขโทรศัพท์ หรือที่อยู่อีเมล เลื่อนไปที่ด้านล่างสุดของหน้าจอ แล้วคลิกปิดกั้นสาย (block this caller)
3. ฟิลเตอร์กรอง iMessage ไม่รับข้อความจากผู้ส่งที่ไม่รู้จัก
ผู้ใช้งาน iPhone สามารถกรอง iMessage ออกจากบุคคลที่ไม่ได้ถูกบันทึกไว้ในแอปรายชื่อของท่านได้ หากต้องการเปิดฟังก์ชั่นกรอง iMessage ให้ไปที่การตั้งค่า > ข้อความ แล้วเปิดฟิลเตอร์ผู้ส่งที่ไม่รู้จัก ทำการเปิดใช้ฟังก์ชั่นนี้ ท่านจะไม่ได้รับข้อความที่ส่งมาจากผู้ส่งที่ไม่รู้จักอีกต่อไป
ทั้งนี้ ข้อความสแปมล่อลวงดังกล่าว ไม่ได้เป็นการส่งข้อความจากทางผู้ให้บริการมือถือแต่อย่างใด โดยดีแทคขอแจ้งให้ผู้ใช้งานอย่าหลงเชื่อและกดลิงก์ตามข้อความสแปมที่ได้รับผ่านช่องทาง iMessage และสามารถทำตามคำแนะนำดังกล่าวเพื่อความปลอดภัยในการใช้งานมือถือ
dtac warns iPhone users over iMessage spam
June 4, 2020 – dtac is warning iPhone users over messages from unknown senders that may appear in iMessage. These may contain advertising messages for illegal services such as gambling. In response, the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC), Apple and all operators have launched an investigation and preventive measures.
The discussions between NBTC, Apple and all operators will ensure the highest cyber security standards are in place for the protection of consumers. In addition, dtac recommends iPhone users to report spam and block senders in case they receive suspect messages on iMessage as per the following methods:
1.Report spam or junk
iPhone users can report iMessage that look like spam or junk from Message app. If a user receives an iMessage from an unknown sender, a Report Junk link will appear under the message. Tap Report Junk, then tap Delete and Report Junk. iMessage will forward the sender's information and the message to Apple, as well as delete the message from your device.
2.Block a phone number or contact
Reporting junk doesn't block the sender from being able to send another message. To do so, go to iMessage, open the conversation, tap the contact at the top of the conversation, then tap the name, phone number or email address, scroll to the bottom of the screen, then tap Block this Caller.
3.Filter iMessages from unknown senders
iPhone users are able to filter iMessages from people who aren't saved in Contacts. Go to filter iMessages, go to Settings > Messages and turn on Filter Unknown Senders.
dtac also wishes to stress iMessage spam is not sent by mobile carriers.
