นายชาติศิริ โสภณพนิช กรรมการผู้จัดการใหญ่ ธนาคารกรุงเทพ จำกัด (มหาชน) รับมอบ 2 รางวัลจาก The Asian Banker Leadership Achievement Awards 2019 จัดโดย ดิ เอเชี่ยน แบงเกอร์ (The Asian Banker) วารสารด้านการเงินชั้นนำของเอเชีย ประกอบด้วย รางวัล The Asian Banker CEO Leadership Achievement for Thailand Award 2019 ซึ่งคัดเลือกจากการสำรวจความคิดเห็นและการพิจารณาผลงานที่โดดเด่น ใน 4 มิติที่มีความสอดคล้องกัน คือ ผลการดำเนินงานขององค์กรที่มีความมั่นคงและยั่งยืน ความสำเร็จอย่างเป็นรูปธรรมขององค์กร การนำเสนอวิสัยทัศน์ในระยะยาวที่ชัดเจนและพัฒนากลยุทธ์ทางธุรกิจที่เกี่ยวเนื่องกัน และการประสานการทำงานร่วมกันเพื่อขับเคลื่อนองค์กรไปในทิศทางเดียวกันได้อย่างมีเอกภาพ โดยผลงานที่โดดเด่นของนายชาติศิริ ยังส่งผลให้ธนาคารกรุงเทพได้รับรางวัล The Best Managed Bank in Thailand 2019 อีกด้วย
นอกจากนี้ การประกาศรางวัลดังกล่าวในครั้งนี้ ธนาคารฯ ยังได้รับรางวัลในหมวด The Asian Banker Transaction Awards 2019 อีก 3 รางวัล ได้แก่ The Best Trade Finance Bank in Thailand, The Best Payment Bank in Thailandและ The Best Custody Bank in Thailand
สำหรับ The Asian Banker Leader Achievement Awards 2019 เป็นการประกาศรางวัลให้แก่นักการธนาคารและธนาคารในภูมิภาคเอเชียที่ประสบความสำเร็จในการดำเนินธุรกิจอย่างโดดเด่น มีความมั่นคงแข็งแกร่ง และสามารถเติบโตได้อย่างยั่งยืน จัดขึ้นเป็นประจำทุก 3 ปี โดยในครั้งนี้พิจารณาจากผลการดำเนินงานในระหว่าง มกราคม 2559 - ธันวาคม 2561 และได้จัดพิธีมอบรางวัล ณ ห้อง Ballroom 1 (Shangri-La Wing) โรงแรมแชงกรี-ลา ในระหว่างวันที่ 29-30 พฤษภาคม 2562
Bangkok Bank receives two prestigious awards at the Asian Banker Leadership Achievement Awards 2019 – Chartsiri Sophonpanich was honored with the Asian Banker CEO Leadership Achievement for Thailand
and the Bank was awarded the Best Managed Bank in Thailand
Bangkok Bank President Chartsiri Sophonpanich received two awards at the Asian Banker Leadership Achievement Awards 2019 presentation ceremony organized by the Asian Banker, the leading financial magazine in Asia.
The first award, “The Asian Banker CEO Leadership Achievement for Thailand Award 2019” recognized the Bank’s outstanding achievements in four areas – sustainable financial performance, specific achievements, long-term vision and business strategy, and teamwork driven by a singular and united vision. These achievements also enabled the Bank to win the second award – “Best Managed Bank in Thailand 2019”.
The Bank received another three awards at the Asian Banker Leadership Achievement Awards 2019: Best Trade Finance Bank in Thailand, Best Payment Bank in Thailand, and Best Custody Bank in Thailand.
The Asian Banker Leader Achievement Awards 2019 is held every three years to honor bankers and banks in Asia that show outstanding strong and sustainable performance. This year’s winners were judged on their performance from January 2016 to December 2018. The award presentation ceremony was held at Ballroom 1 (Shangri-La Wing), Shangri-La Hotel, on 29-30 May 2019.
